Breaking free from the traditional IT landscape

‍Du Gardijn, which advises businesses on corporate risks such as property and income insurance and complements this offering with its own occupational health (Arbodienst) and HRM services, had experience with ANVA, a system widely used by intermediaries. Through a delegated authority office, they were connected to these systems. This made the company somewhat dependent on the decisions of the delegated authority office and the configuration of the ANVA application. Initially, this choice seemed advantageous, especially for a smaller office. However, they soon encountered the limitations of ANVA’s software capabilities. There was a growing need to gain more independence and increase adaptability. The focus is now on improving efficiency and service delivery. Du Gardijn has regained full control over the development and improvement of their services, customer value, and business processes.

‍As a leading intermediary in Eastern Netherlands, Du Gardijn uses data-driven techniques, such as automating email notifications for customers. The company focuses on minimizing repetitive tasks, allowing employees to concentrate on innovation and more complex challenges. Du Gardijn expects to reduce workloads to the extent that one member of a five-person team can be freed for other activities, ensuring continuous innovation. The Novulo platform plays a crucial role in this ambition, as it enables the company to streamline processes extensively and increase efficiency. In this way, Du Gardijn can expand activities without needing additional staff.

A new direction

‍Du Gardijn is taking the lead in its own digitalization project. Supported by Novulo, the ANVA system is being replaced and processes are being optimized. In the new setup, the company aims for seamless integration of policy and claims administration, accounting, and websites such as its various commercial insurance labels overcoming the limitations of ANVA and creating opportunities for a streamlined, customer-focused, and efficient approach. This transformation has not only improved internal workflows but has also opened the door to new business opportunities. By leaving the limitations of ANVA behind, Du Gardijn is now better positioned to innovate and deliver a superior experience to its customers.

The result of innovation

‍Strengthened by the Novulo platform, Du Gardijn is making significant progress in improving CRM management, accelerating lead follow-up, and innovating its claims insurance policy administration. The driving force behind this transformation is twofold: optimizing workflows and ensuring impeccable data quality. As the strategic roadmap toward 2026 continues to be implemented with plans to eventually integrate absenteeism registration and other business units into Novulo the potential for advanced data transparency and management will only increase.

Towards a more efficient future

‍Thanks to the Novulo platform, Du Gardijn has reduced administrative burdens by 20% and achieved optimized operational efficiency. In addition, services in 2024 will be expanded to include prevention and risk management by training advisors as risk specialists. Through the collaboration with Novulo, Du Gardijn’s workflows have been streamlined, preparing the company for future growth without the need for additional staff while simultaneously broadening its service offering.
