Following the 2021 acquisition of Equidad in Aruba, insurer ENNIA set out to establish a fully digital insurance brokerage. The company is bringing this broker to market under the name Sigi: a Caribbean pioneer where the entire insurance process is handled via straight-through processing (STP) and is completely digital, including online payments—all on a single platform.
EY demonstrated how insurers can kickstart their transformation journey with successful AI applications. They begin by defining long-term goals, adapting processes, and placing a strong emphasis on end-users, allowing trust in the new approach to build gradually.
Most insurers looking to replace their legacy back-office systems are told the same thing: you have to overhaul your entire IT landscape at the same time. Nh1816 didn't want that, and with Novulo, they didn't have to.

Not a large, cumbersome package, nor a completely custom solution: Mastermate has found the right balance with Novulo's composable software. This involves standardizing where possible, and customizing where necessary to support the company's identity and competitive edge.
