All tools for composable enterprise applications

Composable means: building applications from independent components that you can quickly assemble, customise and swap out. Novulo doesn't just facilitate how you create and launch applications. Also how you develop components that other teams can reuse. Made possible by one shared reference architecture and ontology.

For business teams

Assemble applications from existing components. Customise where needed. Manage the full lifecycle.

For development teams

Model new components. Everything within one integrated architecture.

All tools for business teams

Application lifecycle management

Build applications from existingcomponents. Configure them to your processes, go live via automated deployment pipelines. Manage every application fully, from one environment. From composition to monitoring, without code.

Store: choose from proven functionality

Select components from the Store, configure them to your specific processes and combine them. The underlying architecture ensures everything stays consistent, even when you make changes later or swap out components.

Automated deployment and DTAP pipelines

Every release runs throug hautomated testing and deployment pipelines. From developer to test to acceptance to production, with controlled handover and full traceability at every step.

Process mining and monitoring for continuous improvement

Track how your application works in production. Process mining makes bottlenecks and deviations visible. Monitoring flags issues before users encounter them. Both built in, no external tooling needed.

Architect: develop visually with low-code

The Architect is the development environment for new components. Business logic, data models, processes and screen layouts are modelled visually using low-code. All within the same reference architecture as every other component in the library. That has a direct benefit: what you build connects without an integration to everything that already exists.

Version control & release management

Components are used by multiple teams and applications simultaneously. That makes version control not an internal nice-to-have, but a requirement. Teams decide per component whether it gets updated. Every new version is automatically checked for backwardscompatibility, so other teams can upgrade without disruption. Release notes andchangelogs are written by the system itself, based on your changes. Less manualwork, always up-to-date documentation.

Built-in quality control

The QA Scanner automatically checks every component for quality and performance. With every build, without manual action. Architecture rules, data integrity, performance values: everything is verified before the component goes live. So bad code never reaches your application.

Usage monitoring & user feedback

User feedback flows directly back to the development environment, making deviations visible. Monitoring informs component and release planning: steer based on facts, focus on what truly matters. This maximises the Product Lifecycle of a component in line with the Application Lifecycle of the teams working with it.

One architecture & ontology

All components are built on the same reference architecture and ontology. They speak the same language and connect seamlessly. Business teams combine components into stable applications, developers build new components that are immediately reusable. With this architecture, every application becomes endlessly scalable.

Integration by design

Components speak the same language and weave together automatically into one stable application. No translation layers, no breaking APIs.

Reusable innovation

New components are immediately reusable and shareable via the Novulo Store. What one team builds, others canreuse.

Scalable change

Updates and new functionality fit automatically within the platform. Changes are manageable and predictable.

Groeibestendige AI-ready architectuur

One uniform foundation lets you grow without fragmentation and makes your systems AI-ready. Because of the architecture, AI immediately understands how everything works.

Results that matter

All components speak the samelanguage. That makes AI integration seamless. AI understands your data, processes and context without complex connections. From chatbots to predictiveanalytics: it works out of the box. Discover how AI enhances your applications.

The new MGA of JW Verzekeringen started with Novulo in June 2025 to build a complete front, mid, and back office on a single platform. The ambition: excellent digital self-service for customers who are always on the move. Full control over the insurance process. And a modern way of working and communicating. They went live in November.
