Why this role matters
As Commercial Operations Lead, you connect sales, marketing, product, and partners into one coherent commercial system. You bring clarity, coordination, and structure, enabling teams to operate more effectively and ensuring customers and partners experience the best of Novulo. Your impact is direct, visible, and long‑lasting.
In this role, you will help shape the commercial foundation by:
- Owning and optimizing commercial processes end-to-end, from first contact to long-term relationship
- Designing and implementing scalable ways of working across sales, marketing, and partners
- Bringing clarity and rhythm to commercial planning and execution
- Strengthening account management, onboarding, and partner collaboration
- Ensuring commercial data, reporting, and tooling support growth and decision-making
- Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align commercial priorities
- Continuously improving how we operate and identify opportunities to professionalize our commercial foundation
Who you are
- The strategist who also executes: You have experience with go‑to‑market structures, preferably in SaaS, tech, or consulting. You know what it looks like when things are professionally set up, and you're happy to roll up your sleeves yourself.
- Commercially sharp: You are commercially sharp and feel at home at the intersection of sales, marketing, partners, and product. You think in systems, processes, and data, yet you never lose sight of the bigger picture or the customer.
- Structured & pragmatic: You build systems and processes that scale. At the same time, you know when to improvise and when structure is truly necessary. You’re comfortable in a growing organization where ambiguity is the norm.
- Independent and a strong communicator: You can speak with anyone: from partners to prospects, from sales colleagues to product. You communicate easily with different stakeholders, take ownership, and do what you promise.
What we’re looking for
Required
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial or customer-facing role
- Experience with go-to-market structures in SaaS, software, or consultancy
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Analytical skills and data-driven mindset with a feel for commercial dynamics
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English
- Living in the Netherlands (commutable to Zeist)
Nice to have
- Affinity with the insurance or regulated markets
- Experience with partner ecosystems
- Experience in a scale‑up or fast‑growing environment
